Roots Dojo is located on Denman Island, BC, Canada (Sla-dai-aich).
To get to Roots you will need to take the Buckley Bay ferry from Vancouver Island to Denman Island. For the ferry schedule, click here.
Once you have crossed the 10 minute ferry ride, turn right on Denman Road until you see the Roots sign; if you have passed the fire department, you are about 200m to far. Once you are up the driveway, the Dojo is on the left along with another sign.

There is a map at the bottom of our Home page if needed.

Denman Island offers a unique blend of tranquility and natural beauty. From beautiful beaches to our two lakes, there is plenty of sightseeing to do on Denman. The small community also enhances the island experience; there is no big stores, only a general store and a few shops with limited hours.

Please beware of the seasonal fire restrictions and respectful to the wildlife of our beautiful island!
