After acceptance
Get ready to train.
Once we have accepted your application and agreed your stay, complete the steps below. If you have not applied yet, start with an application.
Complete your documents.
Use the same name and email as your application so we can match your records.
Pay your invoice.
After checking your documents, we will provide your personal Stripe invoice. Check that it shows your agreed stay and amount before paying.
Full internship: $500 CAD deposit. Four-week and weekly stays: full agreed tuition upfront.
Receive confirmation.
We confirm your place after checking your documents and payment. A submitted application, completed form, or unpaid invoice alone does not reserve a place.
Your internship balance.
The full internship costs $2,500 CAD. After your $500 deposit, the remaining $2,000 is due at the beginning of the program on January 18, 2027, unless other arrangements are agreed.
The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel. If Roots cancels the internship, your deposit is refunded in full. No tax is currently added.
If you withdraw from the full internship after the program begins, payments are non-refundable. Only in the case of serious injury will Roots consider a refund, assessed individually and not guaranteed.
Shorter-stay cancellations.
Weekly and four-week stays: a full refund with at least 14 days’ notice before your agreed start date. Payments are non-refundable with less notice or after your stay begins. If Roots cancels your stay, you receive a full refund.
